1. About this Policy
This Policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with Kiilln at kiilln.com.
Kiilln is operated by CROWNSTONE PARTNERS LTD, company number 17452360, of Dept 6956, 43 Owston Road, Carcroft, Doncaster, United Kingdom, DN6 8DA. Contact: info@kiilln.com.
For information about personal data more generally, read our Privacy Policy.
2. What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, can store or access information in your browser. We use “cookies” in this Policy as a convenient reference to these technologies where the same rules apply.
Session-based information normally lasts for a browsing session. Persistent information can remain for a stated period or until deleted. A cookie's duration is separate from the period for which information already received by a server may be retained.
3. Purposes and choices
The inventory below identifies the technologies actually used. The following categories explain how choices are treated; a category description alone does not mean every type is deployed:
- Strictly necessary: technologies needed to provide a feature you request, such as maintaining authenticated access, protecting a session or recording a cookie choice. We do not use this category to justify unrelated tracking.
- Preferences: technologies remembering optional display or other convenience settings. Their treatment depends on the specific purpose and applicable law, as shown in the inventory.
- Analytics and performance: technologies measuring how the website is used or how features perform. Where optional, they remain disabled until you consent.
- Advertising or cross-service tracking: if introduced, these must be disclosed and require the relevant prior consent. This Policy does not authorise undisclosed advertising tracking.
Where consent is required, we obtain it before storing or accessing information. Continuing to browse, accepting the Terms or making a purchase does not count as consent to optional cookies. A legal exception is used only when the particular technology meets all of its conditions; an applicable right to object must remain available.
5. Managing your preferences
Where optional technologies are offered, the website's cookie controls allow you to accept, reject or choose the available categories. You can return to those controls through the Cookie Settings link and change your choices. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use.
Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the core Services. Some optional functions may require a particular technology, in which case its purpose and the effect of declining it will be explained.
You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking strictly necessary technologies can prevent login, payment or another requested function from working. Deleting preference storage may mean that your choices need to be set again on that browser. Choices on one browser or device may not apply to another.
Removing a cookie does not necessarily delete personal data previously received by us. To ask about that data, use the rights described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Preview and exported code
Cookies used to operate Kiilln are distinct from storage or tracking contained in code you choose to generate or run. Code executed in a preview may behave according to its contents, including making requests or using browser storage. Review that behaviour and avoid adding live tracking or unnecessary personal data during testing.
If you export and publish an application, you are responsible for identifying its technologies and implementing appropriate notices and choices. Kiilln's Cookie Policy is not automatically a cookie policy for that application.
7. Updates and enquiries
We update this Policy and the inventory when relevant technologies change. We will seek new consent where a change requires it, rather than relying on an unrelated earlier choice.
For questions about a technology or a difficulty changing preferences, email info@kiilln.com.
